JuneBee ("we," "us," or "our") is a multilingual learning application designed for families and children.

We are committed to protecting children's privacy and minimizing the personal information collected through our app and website.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

JuneBee stores certain information locally on your device to provide its features. This may include:

If a caregiver chooses to export and share a custom board using the device's sharing features, the selected board and any included custom media are shared through the service the caregiver selects.

Your device's operating system may include locally stored app data in device backups, depending on your backup settings.

2. Purchases

JuneBee offers optional paid content through Apple's in-app purchase system.

Apple processes payments and manages transaction records. JuneBee uses Apple's purchase APIs to determine which content is available on a device.

We do not collect credit card details or directly process payments.

Apple may provide us with aggregated sales and transaction reporting.

3. Children's Privacy

JuneBee is designed to minimize the collection of information from children.

We do not intentionally request children's names, email addresses, birthdays, precise locations or contact details.

Custom photographs and recordings are intended to remain on the device. Children cannot publicly share content through JuneBee.

We do not use third-party behavioral advertising or sell children's personal information.

Parents control the application's configuration and can contact us with questions about privacy.

We aim to comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

4. Website and Mailing Lists

Our website, junebee.app, is intended for parents and adults.

Visitors may voluntarily provide an email address to receive launch announcements, including updates about Android or European availability.

We use this information only for the updates to which the visitor has subscribed. Subscribers may unsubscribe or request deletion by contacting us.

Website signup forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical information needed to perform this verification.

5. Support Communications

When you contact support@junebee.app, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message and attachments.

We use this information to respond to support requests and resolve issues.

Support email is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google-hosted mailbox.

Please do not include sensitive personal information about children in support requests.

6. Service Providers

We use a limited number of service providers to operate JuneBee:

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

JuneBee minimizes the information it collects and retains.

Locally stored data: Language preferences, custom boards, photographs, recordings, and other app content remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall JuneBee. Device backups may retain copies according to your Apple device settings.

Purchases and App Store analytics: Transaction records and App Store analytics are processed and retained by Apple under its applicable policies.

Support communications: We retain support emails for up to 36 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to resolve an ongoing issue or comply with legal obligations.

Website infrastructure: Cloudflare processes limited technical information to deliver and protect our website. Retention of provider-managed operational records is governed by the applicable service configuration and policies.

Waitlist information: Waitlist information is retained until the subscription is withdrawn, the information is no longer needed for its stated purpose, or deletion is requested.

You may request deletion of information you have provided directly to us by contacting support@junebee.app.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as JuneBee evolves or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised date.
